As a Reformed Baptist church
We are committed to the historic Christian faith, rooted in the Scriptures and summarized in the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith. This confession, along with the Baptist Catechism, serves as a faithful guide to understanding and applying God’s Word. We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God, and it is our final authority for all matters of faith and life.

CORE
BELIEFS
The Scriptures
We believe the Bible (Old and New Testaments) is the verbally inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings, and is the complete revelation of His will for salvation and life. It is our supreme authority. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21)
The Trinity
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three co-equal persons: Father, Son (Jesus Christ), and Holy Spirit. They are one God, having the same divine nature, attributes, and perfection. (Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14)
God the Father
We believe in God the Father, an infinite, personal Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love. He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men, He hears and answers prayer, and He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross as a substitutionary atonement for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, ascended to heaven, and will return again in glory. (John 1:1, 14; Philippians 2:5-11; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, who convicts the world of sin, regenerates those who believe, indwells, empowers, and guides believers into all truth. (John 16:7-15; Titus 3:5; Romans 8:9, 14)
Humanity
We believe that God created man and woman in His own image, but they fell into sin through disobedience. As a result, all humanity is born with a sin nature, is alienated from God, and is under His just condemnation. (Genesis 1:26-27; Romans 3:23; 5:12)
The Doctrines of Grace
We embrace the doctrines of grace, often summarized as:
Total Depravity: Sin has affected every part of humanity, rendering us unable to save ourselves or even desire God apart from His grace.
Unconditional Election: God, before the foundation of the world, chose (elected) some to be saved, not based on any foreseen merit in them, but solely according to His good pleasure.
Limited Atonement (Definite Atonement): Christ’s death atoned specifically for the sins of those God has chosen to save, ensuring their salvation.
Irresistible Grace (Effectual Calling): God’s grace irresistibly draws those He has chosen to Himself, enabling them to believe.
Perseverance of the Saints: Those who are truly saved will persevere in faith and good works to the end, because God preserves them.
The Church
We believe the church is the body of Christ, composed of all true believers, and is manifested in local congregations. We believe in believer’s baptism by immersion and the regular observance of the Lord’s Supper (Communion). We believe in the importance of church discipline and the shepherding of believers by qualified elders. (Ephesians 1:22-23; Hebrews 10:24-25; Acts 2:41-42; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26; Matthew 18:15-20; 1 Timothy 3; Titus 1)
The Return of Christ
We believe in the personal, visible, and imminent return of Jesus Christ to judge the living and the dead. (Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18; Revelation 20:11-15)
Eternity
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those who are saved to eternal life, and those who are lost to eternal punishment. (John 5:28-29; Revelation 20:11-15)
Confessional Standard

We gladly affirm the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith as a comprehensive and accurate summary of biblical teaching.

We also find the Baptist Catechism helpful for instructing believers, especially children, in the foundational truths of the faith.
While these documents are not inspired like Scripture, we believe they are faithful guides for understanding and applying God’s Word. We encourage you to read them to learn more about what we believe.

Frequently
Asked
Questions
Being “Reformed” means we embrace the theological heritage of the Protestant Reformation, emphasizing the sovereignty of God in all things, especially in salvation. We look to scripture alone as our ultimate authority in matters of faith and life.
The 1689 Confession is a systematic summary of what we believe the Bible teaches.
It’s a historical document that articulates Reformed theology from a Baptist perspective. It’s not inspired like the Bible, but we believe it’s a faithful explanation of its teachings.
A Catechism is a tool used to teach Christians, especially children, the basic tenets of the Christian faith through questions and answers. The Baptist Catechism is written from a reformed baptist understanding.
These doctrines highlight God’s sovereign initiative in salvation. They include Total Depravity, Unconditional Election, Limited Atonement, Irresistible Grace, and Perseverance of the Saints. They emphasize that salvation is entirely God’s work, from beginning to end.
We are Baptist because we believe that baptism is only for those who have professed faith in Jesus Christ (believer’s baptism) and should be administered by immersion. We also hold to other Baptist distinctives, such as regenerate church membership (only believers in the church), the autonomy of the local church, and soul liberty (freedom of conscience in religious matters).
